Check out my Exclusive story on http://www.petstyle.com/ By Chris AmeruosoPetStyle's Entertainment Correspondent They call it puppy love... and with good reason. When we bring a pet into our lives, we want to believe it's forever. We prepare ourselves for the good, the bad and the ugly -- from wee wee pads to all-nighters to naughty nips. We fall in love with man -- and woman's -- best friend and can't imagine life without our four-legged friends. What we don't focus on is the short amount of time we really have with our pets. The average life expectancy of a canine is 9 to 12 years, but even then there are no guarantees.
Okay so that time of the year is coming once again.... Everyone get ready to break your wallet for those over priced roses, dinner and candy. It's gonna be Valentine Day in a month. Now don't get me wrong I'm a pretty romantic guy... I love to treat my lady like a princess when there is one in my life. This year I thought I would celebrate with my art and treat all of us out there that have been through some bad relationships with a fun time photo. I call this photo 'Mend A Broken Heart' Yes that is the real way to fix a broken heart by having my dear friend Shelly Martinez stitch it up with a huge nail and florescent hot pink string. Truly it is that easy. Closer to Valentine Day I will post the step by step instructions on just how to stitch the right way.
Peace out all you beautiful people. Christopher :)
Feel free to copy this photo and share it with your friends and family.
I have said it before and I will say it again. I really love my job and I feel blessed that I get to do what I love to do. Today I did a shoot for my 'Stars and Pets' In Touch Weekly page with my dear friend and amazing actress and singer Taryn Manning and her new pup Penguin. The fact that I get to sit and talk with such talented people about their pets is truly fulfilling to me. Taryn and Penguin did a wonderful job today and the photos are truly special. Taryn and I talked about how much our pets just truly mean to us. Taryn also passed a remark today that I loved she said "Our dogs never ever judge us" How true is that. If us humans could only learn a thing or two from our pets.. Ahhhh..
Look out for the photos soon in 'In Touch Weekly' in my 5 year running 'Stars and Pets' page just look for me and Stella Blue up in the corner of the page.
The above photo was taken today of Taryn, Penguin, Stella and I on the set of our shoot.
I used a new very talented makeup artist today as well and I was thrilled with her work.
Today is a crazy emotion day for me. Not really sure what I'm feeling. Sometimes it seems hard to connect with people other times it is real easy. I know that I only want a certain type of person in my life now. That I'm really sure of. So while I'm going through my confusing state I can be creative and turn to the only soul that is always there for me. Stella Blue my 11 pound Chinese Crested.
I don't know if you caught Mikey Rourkes speech the other night at the Golden Globes but on his list of thank yous he thanked his dogs the ones here now and the ones gone. When he started to thank them the audience was laughing and chuckling I know that Mikey wasn't doing it for a laugh it was a true feeling that he was sharing. When he proceeded to say that when you are alone your dogs are and will always be there for you. The audience's tone then changed realizing that Mickey was serious.
Mikey was 100 % right they are always there for you.... Let's celebrate our pets today.
